Glow This Winter
So you’re slathering on body butters and heavy cream and still can’t seem to have beautiful, smooth skin. Here are some tips to help you achieve that beautiful glow.
Eat Right
Beautiful skin begins inside. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies and cut down on the fried food. Stick to the golden rule of drinking at least eight cups of water every day and cut down on the caffeine and alcohol. Exercise is also important because it keeps your skin toned and you feel much better too.
Moisture is Vital
Using moisturizers is a must. Creams and lotions should be applied after showering when the skin is slightly damp. For the face use a separate moisturizer made specifically for your facial needs. A facial cleanser should be used in the morning and at night to wash off cosmetics and a day grime. Dry skin tends to do better with non soapy cleansers since soap can be even more drying.
Don't be a Scrub
The last tip for great skin during the winter, exfoliate! Get rid of those dead skin cells with natural scrub products, or make your own. Put ½ cup of brown sugar and olive oil in a jar, mix well and use it on those rough spots like elbows, knees and feet to get that smooth feeling again.
